Alex EberhartPolicy Committee Co-Chair; Association for Nonsmokers-MN (ANSR)

Alex Eberhart is a Project Lead at the Association for Nonsmokers – Minnesota (ANSR), a local non-profit focused on reducing health inequities and other disparities in relation to commercial tobacco, nicotine and other drugs. Specifically, she works on their Live Smoke Free program, assisting multi-unit housing properties in adopting smoke-free policies, because everyone deserves to live in a smoke-free home. She also contributes to community outreach, resident engagement, and enforcement strategies for smoke-free housing. Alex also supports youth engagement and advocacy efforts at ANSR to prevent commercial tobacco use, empowering young leaders to make a difference. Alex earned a Master’s in Public Health from St. Ambrose University and a BS in Public Health – Health Administration from Winona State University. With her long-standing passion for community well-being, she is eager to join the MCA’s Steering Committee. Outside of work, you can find her playing sand volleyball, reading a book, or enjoying the outdoors.
