Women’s Health Week 2025 is May 11 – May 17.
American Cancer Society, A Breath of Hope Lung Foundation, Colon Cancer Coalition, and the Minnesota Department of Health Sage Program have joined together to encourage women to talk to their doctor about screening for breast, cervical, colon, and lung cancer.
Members of the Minnesota Cancer Alliance can help support this cancer screening effort by downloading and posting Social Media Toolkit content using the hashtag #WomensHealthWeekMN or re-sharing content with the same hashtag.

According to the American Cancer Society Cancer Facts and Figures 2025, there is an increase in cancer cases among young and middle-aged women, especially in cancers that can be found early when they may be easier to treat. The Minnesota Cancer Alliance wants to encourage women to contact their doctors to talk about cancer screening for breast, cervical, colon and lung cancer.
