Cancer Health Equity Network
The Cancer Health Equity Network (CHEN) is a group of committed individuals passionate about reducing cancer disparities and advancing health equity. The purpose of CHEN is to educate and mobilize members to achieve collective impact on shared objectives.

Membership & Communications Committee
The Membership and Communications Committee engages Minnesota’s cancer community in the implementation of Cancer Plan Minnesota 2025 through recruiting, retaining, and engaging members in the Minnesota Cancer Alliance; and informs members and external stakeholders about Alliance activities that address the cancer burden in MN.

Policy Committee
The Policy Committee provides direction, planning, and general oversight to policy issues that relate to reducing the burden of cancer. By monitoring emerging issues and research evidence, committee members seek engagement and advocacy in policy initiatives that will further reduce the incidence of cancer in our state by encouraging healthy habits and reducing environmental risks. Systems-level policy changes can build a more lasting healthy Minnesota for generations to come.

Evaluation Advisory Committee
The Evaluation Advisory Committee monitors progress toward meeting the objectives of Cancer Plan Minnesota. It is also responsible for ensuring the overall quality and usefulness of evaluation data obtained; that those evaluation findings are used to inform decisions; and reporting results to Alliance members and stakeholders. The Evaluation Advisory Committee reviews MCA operations, MCA-sponsored projects, and MCA outcomes.
