The Clinical Trials Strategy Action Group are Minnesota Cancer Alliance (MCA) members and their partners who have interest or expertise in cancer clinical trials and are working towards Objective 10 of the Minnesota Cancer Plan 2025 to increase participation in cancer treatment clinical trials. Current members represent health care, research, and patient advocacy groups including Essentia Health Community Cancer Research Program-NCORP, Metro Minnesota Community Oncology Research Consortium, Sanford NCORP of the North Central Plains, Minnesota Cancer Clinical Trials Network (MNCCTN), American Cancer Society, Mayo Clinic, Research Advocacy Network, Breath of Hope Lung Foundation, and the American Indian Cancer Foundation.

- Develop a social media campaign to increase engagement and awareness of clinical trials
- Work with cancer advocacy groups to do presentations for providers and patient support groups about clinical trials
- Create an infographic to inform on access and the process of participating in a clinical trial
- Identify measures to track progress in clinical trial participation, including both process and outcome measures
- Engage additional members from advocacy groups, patients and providers from across the state
