The current pandemic is affecting cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, and health care providers in ways that few others understand. The American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) is working to better understand these challenges. ACS CAN want to understand the health care, economic, emotional, and physical impacts of COVID-19 on cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers and the experiences of healthcare providers who typically care for cancer patients and survivors.
Please take 10 minutes today to tell ACS CAN how the COVID-19 outbreak is affecting you as a (cancer patient, survivor, caregiver, or health care provider) in this anonymous survey.
The survey is open through Thursday, May 14, and may be taken here.
The first COVID-19 specific Survey Views survey showed cancer patients and those who’ve recently completed treatment are finding it challenging to get necessary health care in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and many are experiencing financial stress trying to afford care in an increasingly difficult economic environment. More on the survey results.
