Phitz NantharathComprehensive Cancer Control Program Coordinator

    Phitz Nantharath, BA, MPH, MS, is a Program Planner for the Comprehensive Cancer Control Program at the Minnesota Department of Health. With a strong focus on cancer and health equity, she brings a wealth of experience to her role. Previously, Phitz served as a clinical research budget analyst at the Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) and made significant contributions as a community public health educator, concentrating on breast and cervical cancer outreach funded by the Eliminating Health Disparities Initiative. Throughout her career, Phitz’s primary focus has been health equity research and education, particularly concerning cancer education, prevention, and intervention within the Asian Pacific Islander community. Her work aims to bridge the gap in healthcare access and knowledge, ensuring equitable opportunities for all.

    Phitz holds a BA in Human Resources and Marketing, an MS in Human Resources Development, and an MPH in Community Health from the esteemed University of Minnesota. Currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Healthcare Administration and Education at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, Phitz remains driven by the passion to eliminate health disparities and create equal healthcare opportunities for underserved communities. Her visionary leadership and dedication inspire positive change, making a lasting impact on healthcare equity.
