Lisa Beckendorf is a pancreatic neuroendocrine cancer and leukemia survivor. She has worked as a patient advocate in a variety of roles including research advocacy, educational meetings and health fairs, governmental advocacy, event fundraising and patient support.

As a research advocate, she serves on the NCI Leukemia Steering Committee and the NCI Patient Advocate Steering Committee. She serves as Patient Advocate on the Leukemia and Lymphoma Committees and the Cancer Research Advocates Committee with ECOG-ACRIN. She is a member of the Patient Advisory Council at the Masonic Cancer Center – University of Minnesota and served as Event Chair for the Minnesota Affiliate of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. Lisa is currently a Project Director with Research Advocacy Network.
