Laura FangelChair of MCA Leadership Team & Steering Committee; Metro Minnesota Community Oncology Research Consortium

Laura Fangel holds a degree in Sociology from the University of Minnesota Duluth and is Certified in Project Management through the University of Minnesota. With over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Laura has spent the last decade specializing in cancer care. Currently serving as the Cancer Care Delivery Research Program Manager for Metro-Minnesota Community Oncology Research Consortium (MMCORC), Laura plays a key role in supporting CCDR research studies at community oncology clinics where 80% of Minnesotans receive their care. Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters and their beloved dog. She actively volunteers in her community, supporting the work of The Child Loss Foundation and the Minnesota Cancer Alliance, serving as Vice Chair for the Steering Committee. Laura is a diehard Vikings fan and although a lifelong Minnesotan, only recently discovered the joy of ice fishing! Warmer weather brings weekends at the lake in Wisconsin, soaking in the beauty of nature and enjoying time with extended family. In addition, Laura is proud of her ever-growing houseplant collection, nurturing a green thumb with each new addition.
