Amna Hussein co-chairs the Cancer Health Equity Network. She is also the Community Engagement Coordinator in the Office of Community Outreach and Engagement at the Masonic Cancer Center, University of Minnesota. Amna completed her Master’s degree in Biological Sciences with a focus on Public Health, Immunology, and Cancer Biology at the University of Minnesota. Throughout her career, she has been actively involved in various opportunities addressing inequities in education and healthcare. Her passion lies in addressing the social determinants of health to reduce cancer health disparities in communities across the state.
