Kris Rhodes is the Chief Executive Officer of the American Indian Cancer Foundation. Kris Rhodes is enrolled Ojibwe (Bad River & Fond du Lac). Over the past two decades, she has worked to improve the health of American Indian communities. She has conducted community-based research in a variety of areas: breastfeeding promotion, ear infections, teen pregnancy prevention, and is most passionate about finding solutions to the complex tobacco issues among American Indians. The American Indian Cancer Foundation uses Cancer Plan Minnesota as a guide in its efforts. The foundation continually advocates for American Indian specific data and goals within all efforts so that it can better understand the inequities to get to sustainable cancer solutions for all communities.
