Mobilizing for ACTION


This meeting builds on the energy and enthusiasm generated at Cancer Summit Minnesota 2017. Its purpose is to bring people together to decide how we are going to work together to implement specific strategies in Cancer Plan MN 2025. Before leaving, participants will:

  • Determine opportunities for shared alignment

  • Determine next steps to implement Cancer Plan 2025 strategies

  • Recognize the roles of the steering committee, MDH staff, and Alliance members in the work

Cancer Summit Minnesota 2017

This one day event will give participants a chance to meet and network with other people interested in improving health care for all Minnesotans. Topical breakouts will focus on cancer prevention, detection, treatment, survivorship and data trends.

Summit Objectives:

  • To Learn about Cancer Plan 2025, the new framework for action, based on dynamic general session presentations
  • To Connect different participants and stakeholders through breakouts and networking activities
  • To generate Commitment to Action by offering opportunities for individual and organizational activity going forward
