Workgroup phase draws to a close

The workgroups formed to make recommendations about what belongs in Minnesota’s next cancer plan have concluded their work. Workgroup members gave generously of their time and expertise to identify:

What issues should be addressed;
What objectives should be worked on;
What strategies are needed to reduce the burden of cancer in Minnesota.

RECOMMENDED OBJECTIVES AND STRATEGIES

The MCA Steering Committee met on July 21 to determine the strategies for Cancer Plan Minnesota. The Detection workgroup has developed recommendations for Breast, Cervical, Colon CancerLung CancerCommunity Health WorkersCommunications, and Correctional Populations.
