Advance Care Planning & Hospice

Optimize the quality of life of every person affected by cancer

Workgroup phase draws to a close

The workgroups formed to make recommendations about what belongs in Minnesota’s next cancer plan have concluded their work. Workgroup members gave generously of their time and expertise to identify:

What issues should be addressed;
What objectives should be worked on;
What strategies are needed to reduce the burden of cancer in Minnesota.

Thank you for helping to shape the next generation Cancer Plan Minnesota.

The MCA Steering Committee met on July 21 to determine the strategies for Cancer Plan Minnesota. The Advance Care Planning & Hospice workgroup has developed recommendations for Advance Care Planning, Increasing the Awareness of the Benefits of Advance Care Planning, and Hospice and Palliative Care Services.
